Levi Roots has joined forces with Aardman, the Bristol based multi award winning animation studio to produce a £2M cinema and TV commercial for Reggae Reggae Sauce.
The advert features Levi cooking up a BBQ in the back garden of a Brixton house. Singing the “It’s so nice I had to name it twice” Reggae Reggae Sauce song, the tune that sealed the deal for him on Dragons’ Den, Levi splashes sauce onto sausages and chicken drumsticks to give them a Caribbean flava and a culinary kick.
“He’s definitely cooler, more handsome than me,” says Levi. “I’ve always been a big fan of Wallace & Gromit so it’s a real treat to be made into one of their characters; if not a little surreal!’’
